Kate and Sam’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration set against the backdrop of a warm June afternoon at St. Rose of Lima in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. For Sam, the venue choice held special significance as he had been a part of the St. Rose community since childhood, attending elementary and middle school there.
Thoughtful details and personalized touches marked Kate’s journey to the altar. She collaborated with Olia Zavozina to design her dream wedding dress, which featured crepe fabric, delicate lace detailing on the back, and a v-neckline. Her cathedral-length veil was crafted to match the lace on the dress, adding a touch of timeless elegance to her bridal ensemble.
The couple’s favorite flavors was evident in their choice of wedding cake. Publix Bakery created a stunning three-tiered berry chantilly cake, adorned with beautiful blue sugar flowers.
Family heirlooms played a significant role in the celebration, with Kate and Sam using her mother’s cake server and knife during the cake cutting ceremony. The table was adorned with a monogram sash, adding a personal touch to the decor. This continued through other aspects of the wedding decor like koozies and the corn hole boards the bride painted herself.
The bridal party was dressed in light blue, floor-length dresses designed by Dessy Group and purchased from Bella Bridesmaids. The dresses featured a high neck and low back, adding a modern twist to the classic bridesmaid look. Their bouquets, crafted from a mix of white summer flowers and greenery, complemented the color scheme beautifully.
The reception was a vision of beauty, with hydrangeas adorning every table, creating a lush and inviting atmosphere. The blue and white floral arrangements, hints of greenery, blue taper candles, and crystal glassware provided by Murfreesboro Flower Shop and Feather and Oak brought Kate’s vision to life. The classic white plates, wrapped in a blue knotted napkin, and accompanied by a calligraphy place card on the head table, added an air of sophistication to the decor.
